Your Site, Your Views!
Thanks very much to everyone who filled in our survey ‘Participation: Your Site, Your Views!’ We received 135 responses and have written them up in a report which has been sent to Eurochild.
88% of you say you feel listened to ‘completely’ or ‘to some extent’ about any problems or issues you have on the site.
85% of you feel listened to about the problems or issues you come to the site to get support with (such as bullying.)
78% of you feel listened to about how the site is run, 81% about how the site works and 80% about how the site looks.
91% of you think the site rules are fair (with over half saying they are ‘very fair’) and 85% think the rules are clear enough.
More than half of you (56%) have said that having CyberMentors in your schools has made school staff more likely to listen to what young people have to say, and three-quarters of you say that being involved with CyberMentors has made you more confident to have your say and be heard.
A lot of you (60%) say that being involved with CyberMentors has made you feel more like part of your school or community, and half say that doing Social Actions has made you feel this way.
Some of you were less happy about the site and asked if someone could contact them to discuss it. If you said that you’d like someone to contact you, a message has been sent to you through the CyberMentors site.
Again, thank you all!
